Junk Removal Pricing

The short answer: every job has a $99 minimum, starting prices for common items are in the table below, and your exact price comes from how much there is, how heavy it is and the work of getting it out. You get one written price, disposal fees included, before any work starts.

We price each job from your photos and details: how much needs to go, how heavy it is and the work of getting it out. Most jobs start with how much room your items will take up in the truck. Weight and the work of getting them out matter too. A few boxes of books or tools can take more effort than a larger pile of empty packaging. Wet carpet and tile can be much heavier than they look in a photo.

A recliner beside the driveway is a different job from a sleeper sofa down a third-floor condo hallway. The sleeper mechanism, stairs, elevator, tight turns and walk to the truck all affect the work. Island travel and a building’s allowed work hours belong in the estimate too. We put the agreed work and disposal fees into one price before loading.

Show us how the items will come out, not just the items themselves. A few photos of the stairs, hallway and parking area can answer questions a close-up of the couch won’t. We’ll talk through the details with you before you decide.

Call or text with photos, the pickup address and any deadline. Show everything you want removed, including the boxes behind the couch or the pile in another room.

For a large cleanout, or anything pictures don’t show clearly, a free walkthrough can be more useful than a guess. We agree on what needs to go and give you the price before work begins. We’ll also confirm the pickup date with you; asking for an estimate doesn’t automatically reserve a visit.

Your written price holds when the items, their condition and the way out match what we agreed. An extra room, heavy contents hidden in boxes, an unavailable elevator or a connection we weren’t told about can change the work. Before doing that part, the crew stops and the office sends you the updated work and price for written approval. The extra work goes ahead only with your okay. If the original job can’t go ahead safely, we pause and agree on what happens next. Decided to keep a substantial part of the load? Tell us so we can review the price in that direction too.
