We haul away small amounts of clean dirt: bagged soil, leftover potting mix, or a pile left over from a planting or pool-deck project that can be shoveled. It’s priced on weight. Large stockpiles and excavation are for an excavation contractor.

Tell us about the pile

Send photos and rough dimensions of the pile, where it came from and how far it is from where the truck can park. Tell us about anything mixed in: concrete, roots, rock or anything that could be fuel or chemicals. Soil that may be contaminated needs testing and its own disposal route; tell us about it and we’ll haul the clean dirt.

Sod, rock and gravel

Pulled-up sod carries its own soil and water, so it’s heavier than it looks. Mixed rock or gravel adds more weight. Tell us what’s in the pile without digging into it.

What changes the price

Weight, not size. Wet soil is much heavier than it looks, and a truck reaches its weight limit with dirt long before the bed is full. The distance from the pile to the truck and any steps add shoveling time. For excavation, grading or a big earthmoving job, send photos or call; we’ll tell you what we can take on and how the rest gets handled. See how pricing works.

What to photograph for an estimate

Show the pile and roughly how much there is. With dense material, weight matters more than volume.
