Loose firewood and already-cut logs can be included in a yard-debris request. Size, weight and the carry to the truck matter more than the number of pieces.
Leave cutting and standing trees out of the pile quote
We handle accepted loose wood from the ground; felling, climbing, stump grinding and limbs still attached or under tension go to a tree service first. Show the diameter and length of the largest logs and any wet or embedded pieces. Oversized trunks can require a grapple or tree-service provider. Do not move heavy logs to prove their weight.
Separate split firewood from unsplit rounds
A neat stack can contain a few oversized sections at the back that need different loading equipment. Include the rack only if it is leaving, and disclose rot or pests without pulling the stack apart. Already-extracted stumps are different from logs because their roots can hold heavy soil.
The largest round can govern the whole pickup
Diameter, length and moisture affect weight and gripping. A low pile of dense rounds may involve more work than a taller stack of split firewood. Steps and soft ground restrict rolling or equipment access. This is removal of accepted loose wood, not firewood splitting, standing-tree cutting or stump grinding.
What to photograph for an estimate
Show the pile from two sides with something in the frame for scale, and whether it’s loose, bundled or bagged. Palm fronds and limbs are bulky; logs and stumps are heavy.
