Check Bonita Springs’ county collection option before paying for hauling
Bonita Springs is part of Lee County’s residential solid-waste service area. For county-served households, curbside services include large furniture and household appliances. Use the property’s actual account or manager to confirm the material and placement, especially at a building with shared collection.
An accepted chair that you can safely place for collection may not need a private visit. A glass patio table behind a screen door, a heavy appliance behind stored contents or furniture in several rooms presents a carrying job as well as a disposal choice. That is where our full-service pickup can help.

Count the lanai and the route through its screen door
A Bonita Springs request can involve more than the main living rooms. If outdoor furniture, garage storage or a screened lanai is part of the job, include those areas as well as the interior pieces. A patio table with a glass top or an appliance tucked behind stored contents changes the carrying plan.
Glass, heavy bases and narrow exits
Identify the tabletop and base separately, along with any unstable frame or damaged glass. Show the actual screen-door opening and route to the driveway. Paver steps, a side gate and landscaping can limit the way out even when the lanai itself is spacious. Keep the enclosure intact while the removal is planned. Our glass-table guide and patio furniture guide explain the item details.
Keep pool-care products separate from outdoor furniture
Old pool or spa chemicals do not belong in a household furniture load. Lee County’s household chemical facility at 6441 Topaz Court in Fort Myers handles household chemicals, including pool products and pesticides. Check the facility’s current hours and preparation guidance before taking them there.
Vegetation, a fence panel and a pool-cage structure are also different from loose furnishings. Name each material so the plan covers the actual contents; a lanai furniture pickup does not imply removing the enclosure or working on pool utilities.
Keep the furniture list clear through a seasonal stay or sale
If family, guests or tenants use the home, identify whose belongings are leaving. A piece stored in the garage may be reserved for the next visit rather than discarded. Keep those items separate from furniture being replaced, and let a remote manager arrange entry around the owner’s written instructions. Completion photos document the agreed cleared areas.
When a home is being sold, distinguish furniture included in the sale from belongings the seller needs removed. Removal for agents and home sellers explains that handover; seasonal-home cleanouts covers an owner who is away.
Check condition before choosing donation or disposal
The local Habitat ReStore donation guide includes patio furniture but excludes broken, peeling, stained and pet-damaged furniture. That helps distinguish a usable outdoor set from weather-damaged pieces. Get the receiving organization’s acceptance before making a trip. For items headed to disposal, compare county collection with the lifting and access help you need from residential removal.
