Gateway’s CDD map helps find the right association contact
Gateway includes residential communities and a business park, as described in Lee County’s community overview. The address alone does not tell a removal crew which gate to use or where a truck can load. Those details come from the property’s actual management.
The Gateway Services CDD community map lists HOA contacts, community managers and utility information. Use it to locate the right contact; it is not blanket approval to enter every neighborhood. Ask that association or manager for vendor-entry and loading instructions before arranging the pickup.

A household garage and a leased office need different removal lists
At home, a pickup might include the sofa, an extra refrigerator and things stored on the lanai. In an office, the first job is identifying what the business owns and has released. Keep those two kinds of decisions clear even when the addresses are close together.
For the house, include the garage and lanai now
A gated front entrance does not describe a screen door or side gate behind the house. Trace the path from each included area to the loading space. Identify a powered recliner, heavy sleeper sofa or refrigerator still connected to water rather than grouping them as miscellaneous furniture. The furniture guide and appliance guide explain the relevant preparation.
For the office, separate furniture from records and leased equipment
Keep files, computers awaiting data handling and anything still in use separate. Desks and chairs released for disposal can leave while landlord-owned fixtures or leased machines stay. Removing furniture does not include certified document shredding or data destruction. Our office cleanout guide covers that handover; filing-cabinet removal explains clearing records before the cabinet goes.
Confirm vendor entry before reserving the removal window
Before booking, ask where a removal vehicle should enter and load, whether the driver must be on an entry list and whether work hours are limited. If your building or property manager requires a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we’ll arrange it. Other vendor requirements are reviewed before booking. A resident’s gate code alone may not cover the crew.
- For a house, include screen doors, side gates and garage steps in the carrying route.
- At a business, identify the service entrance, corridor turns and elevator arrangements.
- Keep furniture out of shared hallways while access is being arranged; use the loading place management actually permits.
When the owner is away but management can open the door
Send written instructions about what goes and what stays. A manager can let us in while you remain the person who approves removal. Name someone we can reach if the actual contents differ from the list, and arrange keys or codes privately. Completion photos show the agreed cleared areas. Property-manager cleanouts covers the authorization and handover.
Compare the building’s collection service with the carry-out you need
Ask the provider on your household account or the business property manager about the existing bulky-item option. County residential information is the starting point for a home’s public service; a shared commercial account can have different arrangements. Don’t use the nearest house’s collection day as an office furniture-removal plan.
If released furniture can safely reach the approved collection point and the schedule fits, the existing service may be sufficient. We help with the work between the room and the truck: multiple areas, heavy desks, controlled entrances and a coordinated property handover. The desk guide explains disassembly and the route out without repeating a whole estimate process here.
