Starting at $150
One previously extracted stump accessible for loading
- Included
- Labor, lifting/loading, haul-away, transportation, and standard disposal/recycling fees for the described item
- Conditions
- Stumps must already be out of the ground. A tree service handles stump grinding and tree removal; we haul the extracted stump.
- What changes the price
- Weight, dimensions, soil attached, loading access, quantity, and yard-waste/disposal fees
- Add-on charges
- Quoted before work for unusual access, extra-heavy/oversized handling, disassembly, or non-standard disposal when applicable
We haul stumps only after they have already been extracted. Grinding, excavation and tree removal go to a tree service first; then we haul the stumps.
Weight after extraction
Dirt should be knocked off before the stump is assessed for hauling. Show the root mass, dimensions and access without attempting to lift it for a photo. Extreme weight may require different equipment or may be declined. Describe mud, embedded material and the path to the truck so the loading plan reflects more than the stump's visible top.
The root ball is usually more revealing than the cut face
An extracted stump can have long roots, embedded soil and an irregular underside that complicate lifting. It must already be free of the ground. Remove loose dirt only where safe; do not drag or cut loaded roots for a better view. Nearby tree debris should be identified separately from the stump mass.
Remaining earth and equipment access set feasibility
Root-ball dimensions and retained soil can create extreme weight despite a modest trunk diameter. Gates, soft ground and the loading position determine whether suitable equipment can reach it. For a very large extracted stump, send photos and we’ll tell you how it gets handled. A stump grinder or landscaper handles grinding, excavation and filling the hole.
Curbside rules for extracted stump hauling differ across Lee County

What to photograph for an estimate
Show the pile from two sides with something in the frame for scale, and whether it’s loose, bundled or bagged. Palm fronds and limbs are bulky; logs and stumps are heavy.
