We remove sandboxes, frame and sand, and the play-area clutter around them. Show the frame, cover and remaining sand separately.
Frame removal and dense contents
A plastic or wood frame is a different load from a box still full of sand. Describe the amount and condition of the contents before requesting a price. Identify attachments, rotten wood, sharp edges or animal contamination. No excavation or unlimited soil handling is assumed in a play-equipment pickup.
Estimate the sand separately from its container
A shallow-looking sandbox can hold substantial weight across its whole floor. Length, width and approximate sand depth help distinguish an empty-frame pickup from a heavy material job. Wet sand and debris mixed into it also change handling. Keep the liner, cover and loose toys identifiable; do not load a flexible plastic shell with sand and try to carry it as one piece.
Empty frames and filled boxes need different estimates
The frame material, sand quantity and distance to a hard loading surface affect the work. Narrow gates or steps can require more individual carries than a box beside a driveway. Include the agreed contents explicitly and identify contamination before handling. If the remaining job is a broader yard cleanout, separate outdoor furniture and other loose clutter from the sand.
