Patio furniture, a worn trampoline or a shed full of unwanted belongings can each need a different kind of help. Start with photos of what needs to go and the route through the yard. The guides below explain preparation for each item.
Tell us about anchors, utilities and anything attached to the house. We also take down sheds, decks, fences, playsets, pool cages and screen enclosures as light demolition; send photos of the structure and how it is attached, and we’ll price the job.

What needs to come out of the yard?
Tell us what is going: loose contents, a structure to take down, or both. Excavation, tree work and utility disconnection are not part of outdoor removal.
Patio sets and outdoor contents
Identify patio furniture, cold empty portable fire pits, planters and loose equipment. For pots, explain whether they still contain soil. A wheelbarrow or garden tool can be included with the other contents. Show the lanai door, screen opening and gate without removing building components to create access.
Playsets, swing sets and trampolines
Show fasteners, corrosion, anchors and the ground around the equipment. Playhouses, sandboxes, slides and freestanding soccer goals need the same distinction between loose pieces and embedded supports. A portable basketball hoop with a drained base differs from an in-ground goal set in concrete. Commercial playground dismantling needs its own agreed plan and suitable equipment; no footing excavation is implied.
Sheds, decks and fences
We take down and haul away sheds, decks, fences, gazebos, pergolas, carports, pool cages and screen enclosures, or just clear out what’s inside a shed. Send photos of the structure, how it’s attached and any power or water connected to it, and we’ll price the job. Greenhouses and animal enclosures add glass, sharp mesh or cleanup concerns. Structural work and unsafe structures are not part of light demolition; if your job has either, we’ll tell you before we book.
Docks and manufactured homes
Pool cages and screen enclosures come down as light demolition (above). Old boats and their trailers come out whole or broken down on site; see old boat removal. For a dock or a whole mobile home, send photos or call and we’ll tell you what we can take on and how the rest gets handled. The contents of a manufactured home are a regular household cleanout once it’s safe to enter and someone can approve what goes.

The carry starts where the object sits.
Show screen openings, gates, steps, soil, pavers, tight side yards and the final loading position. Mention whether equipment is beside a pool, under a deck or behind stored contents. Photograph from a safe position; do not approach an unstable structure or move attached equipment for a clearer view.
Ordinary dismantling is agreed for the particular accepted item. Cutting fencing, altering screens, excavating footings or removing attached building components is not an assumed way to improve access.
Tell us about connections and anything stored inside.
Explain electricity, water, gas, anchors and any contents inside the equipment or structure. A qualified trade must complete disconnection where required. Identify chemicals, fuel, batteries and unknown containers separately. A shed full of contents can be cleared on its own, or cleared and taken down in the same visit.
Before booking, we need the property owner’s permission and to confirm any local rules, suitable equipment and where the material can be taken. A tree service handles standing trees; for anything in the water, send photos or call and we’ll tell you how it gets handled. Construction guidance explains why even detached debris needs its material and local collection rules checked.
What would you like cleared from the yard?
Say whether the request is for loose contents, taking down a structure or collecting an already-detached pile. Describe the desired remaining condition. Hauling does not include landscaping, regrading or repairing a surface afterward.
For a mixed backyard cleanup, combine prepared vegetation, patio furniture and other items in one disclosed request. We’ll confirm which items we can take and how each needs to be prepared.
