We haul unwanted car parts. Tell us what they are, how heavy and whether they still hold fluids. Name the parts and show them in place instead of assuming every automotive item is ordinary scrap.
Fluids, batteries and heavy assemblies
Fuel and automotive fluids go to Lee County’s household chemical drop-off at Topaz Court (drop-off sites); point out any concealed hazardous contents before pickup. Drained engines and other heavy assemblies are priced one by one. Vehicle dismantling and scrap payment go through a salvage yard; this pickup hauls the parts you’ve already removed.
Separate heavy assemblies from empty body panels
A rim or detached fender is different from an engine or transmission with concentrated weight and possible fluids. Identify each prepared part rather than stacking everything under a scrap-metal label. Tires and batteries have separate handling conditions. Complete vehicles and loose catalytic converters are outside this parts service.
Assembly weight and sharp shapes affect loading
An engine block can require different equipment from several light panels. Projecting brackets, jagged metal, stairs or a long garage carry add work. Fluids must be addressed before collection; removal does not include dismantling a vehicle or draining a concealed mixed load. No scrap purchase or credit is implied.
Where it can go in Lee County
If you’d rather handle some of it yourself, or it’s still worth giving away, these are the local options. Each organization decides what it accepts, so check with them before you load the car.
