Most construction debris jobs are one of four. The remodel is done and the leftovers are piled in the garage or driveway: drywall scraps, old cabinets, flooring, tile, boxes and trim. Or the tear-out hasn’t happened yet, and you want one crew to take out the old kitchen, bathroom or flooring and haul it away in the same visit. Or it’s a roof: shingles, felt and old decking from a re-roof or repair. Or it’s outside: a shed, deck, fence or pool cage coming down, or a pile of broken concrete from an old patio or walkway.

We load it from wherever it sits, whether that’s a driveway pile, a gutted room or the backyard, and haul it away. It works the same whether the debris came from your own project or your contractor’s. Tell us which job you have, what’s still attached and roughly how much there is, and send photos with the job address.

Describe the material and the work already completed.

We need to check the material, whether we are permitted to haul it from your address and where it can be accepted before booking. This is not an open offer to clear any construction site.

Concrete, masonry, tile and earth

Broken concrete, bricks, cinder blocks, pavers, tile, soil and gravel are dense loads. Show how much is present and whether it is loose, bagged or still installed. We haul loose concrete but don’t break up slabs or excavate; tile can be pulled up from a slab as part of an interior tear-out. A small footprint does not establish a light load or an accepted pickup.

Drywall, lumber, roofing and flooring

Separate drywall, scrap lumber, leftover building materials, roofing shingles, siding, doors, flooring, carpet and padding in the request. Report unknown age or suspected hazardous material rather than guessing it is safe. Insulation removal, asbestos abatement and mold remediation are not ordinary debris hauling. Calling it a renovation cleanup doesn’t change the need to confirm permission and a suitable place for the material.

Cabinets, countertops and bathroom fixtures

Tell us what is still installed and what another trade has already detached. We can tear out kitchen cabinets, countertops, bathtubs and shower stalls once a licensed plumber or electrician has disconnected them; sinks and toilets go out the same way. Identify cast iron or stone and the route out before treating a detached fixture as a normal household item.

Glass, mirrors and project packaging

Describe intact windows, large mirrors and broken glass separately; do not break them to reduce their size. Keep cardboard, plastic film and foam packaging separate from sharp debris when practical. No recycling outcome or public collection eligibility is assumed from the material name. A quote must identify the actual pile and safe handling method.

Light debris and heavy debris load differently

Drywall, lumber and scrap wood, cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, fixtures, packaging, siding and bagged fiberglass insulation are everyday loads: bulky, but they fill the truck before they get heavy. Tile, concrete, brick, block, stone, pavers, stucco, plaster, roofing shingles, dirt, sand, wet drywall and wet carpet are the opposite. A small pile can weigh more than a truckload of cabinets, so heavy material is priced by weight.

Broken concrete we haul. For a slab still in place, send photos and we’ll tell you how it gets handled.

Tear-outs, and what has to happen first

We do light demolition and interior tear-outs: cabinets, countertops, flooring, carpet, tile, tubs, showers, drywall and non-load-bearing walls, plus sheds, decks, fences and pool cages outside. Routine disassembly is part of the job.

A few things come first. Anything plumbed, wired or on gas is disconnected by a licensed plumber or electrician before it comes out. For a structural wall or work that needs a permit, send photos or call; we’ll tell you what we can take on and how the rest gets handled. If you suspect asbestos, stop disturbing it; it needs testing and licensed abatement first. Call us and we’ll plan the rest of the job around it.

Roofing jobs and permitted projects

Shingle tear-offs come down with felt, nails and sometimes rotted decking, and the pile is heavier than it looks. Tell us the roof size or the number of squares if you know it, and where the pile is. If you’re hauling some yourself, Lee County no longer takes asphalt shingles at its Buckingham campus; they go to the Lee/Hendry landfill in Felda or a private recycler (see Lee County drop-off sites).

In unincorporated Lee County, projects that need a building or demolition permit above the county’s thresholds, re-roofs included, have to recycle half of their debris. If your permit carries that requirement, tell us when you book.

A dumpster for a longer project

If you or your crew will be loading for days or weeks, a roll-off you fill as you go may cost less than hauls at the end. We deliver 10- to 40-yard construction-debris roll-offs in unincorporated Lee County (including Lehigh Acres and North Fort Myers), Bonita Springs and Estero; for other addresses, see dumpster rules by city. If the debris is already piled up, our crew loads it and hauls it away in one visit. Dumpster rental vs. junk removal compares the two.

What the photos should show

One wide shot of the whole pile with something for scale, like a door or a truck. Close-ups of anything heavy, like tile, concrete or shingles. Anything still installed that needs to come out. And the route from the pile to where the truck can park: stairs, gates, a long driveway, or another trade’s equipment in the way.

Mention nails, sharp edges, liquids and containers you can’t identify. Leftover paint, solvents and fuel go to Lee County’s household chemical drop-off at Topaz Court (drop-off sites). Everything else, we’ll haul.

What happens to the material

Clean, usable materials, like full sheets of drywall, long lumber and cabinets in good shape, can be donated when a local organization accepts them. Metal is separated for recycling when practical. The rest goes to appropriate disposal.

What changes the price

Construction debris is priced on volume and weight together. Drywall scraps and framing lumber fill the truck before they get heavy; tile, plaster, shingles and concrete get heavy long before they fill it. Mixed piles with nails, sharp edges or wet material take longer to load, and anything still installed adds tear-out labor. Tell us roughly how big the pile is, what’s in it and what’s still attached. See how pricing works.

Start with a call, a text or the free estimate form. Text photos, call or use the free estimate form for a fast price; you approve it before we schedule. If more debris turns up, it’s priced with you, in writing, before it goes on the truck.

Where it can go in Lee County

If you’d rather handle some of it yourself, or it’s still worth giving away, these are the local options. Each organization decides what it accepts, so check with them before you load the car.
