Loose cinder blocks and concrete blocks are weight-priced loads. Identify hollow blocks, solid pieces and blocks filled with concrete or attached to reinforcement before a quote.
Dense pieces need a loading plan
Show the largest units and the whole pile, including any sharp reinforcing metal. A block wall is not an already-prepared load; required dismantling or structural work must be completed by the responsible contractor. We review carrying distance, vehicle capacity, the pickup address and receiving arrangements before acceptance.
A hollow block and a filled block are different lifts
Concrete inside the cores can make a used block much heavier than an unused one beside it. Mortar and reinforcing metal add uneven edges and projections. Identify those pieces separately from clean stacks; leave oversized or unstable pieces alone. Small concrete debris also needs chunk-size information rather than only a pile volume.
Core contents and loading distance determine the effort
The number of blocks is useful only with their type and condition. Solid units, filled cores and reinforced fragments change the loading plan. A side-yard stack behind steps can involve many individual carries. Wall dismantling, footing removal and structural work remain separate from collection of the prepared blocks.
