We haul away fiberglass insulation that’s already been pulled out and bagged, whether from an attic job, a remodel or storm damage. A contractor pulls it out of attics or walls; we take it from there. If you suspect asbestos, it needs testing and licensed abatement first.

What we need to know

Tell us where it came from, who removed it, whether it’s wet, and how many bags there are. Keep it bagged, and show us where the bags are and the way out. You don’t need to go into the attic for photos.

Know what it is

Old attic fill isn’t fiberglass just because it was next to fiberglass. Pebbly, gray-brown loose fill may be vermiculite, and EPA advises leaving vermiculite insulation undisturbed. If you aren’t sure what a material is, stop and have it checked. If you suspect asbestos, it needs testing and licensed abatement first. Call us and we’ll plan the rest of the job around it. Other building materials can go in the same pickup.

What changes the price

The number of bags, whether they’re wet (much heavier), and the carry from where they’re staged. Torn bags need re-bagging before they go. See how pricing works.

Curbside rules for bagged fiberglass insulation differ across Lee County

  • Cape Coral: not collected at the curb (bathtubs, fence sections, insulation and patio doors are excluded).
  • Fort Myers Beach: wood fencing up to 2 yards a week stacked; chain-link by special pickup.
