We haul already-removed windows with their glass taped or contained. Installed window removal, opening repairs and replacement installation are outside this pickup scope.
Photograph each complete window unit
Count frames, sashes, screens and loose panes separately. Show broken glass, projecting fasteners and the route from storage to the truck. Keep the glass protected, and do not remove a window from the building simply to prepare for our visit. Dense or damaged renovation loads require the same address and receiving review as other construction debris.
Count sashes, frames and screens rather than openings
One replaced opening can leave several separate panels and a frame. Double panes and larger glazing can make a modest-sized unit heavy; keep the glass supported and identify cracks. Retain anything needed for the replacement. Prepared door slabs can be included as separate items from the same renovation.
Glazing, frame size and damaged edges set the handling
Large rigid frames need turning room, while loose screens and trim add lighter pieces. Multiple panes, projecting fasteners and cracked glass change support and containment. We haul units after the window contractor has released them and made the opening safe; weatherproofing and installed-window removal are separate work.
