Fence removal needs the material, post foundations and property access identified before pricing. We take down wood, vinyl and chain-link fences and haul loose sections, so tell us which you need.
Show posts and foundations, not just panels
Include the full fence length, height, gates, leaning sections and both ends of the work area. Confirm ownership and permission where the fence is shared or borders another property. Posts set in concrete may be cut flush; pulling posts and concrete requires a separate agreed scope. Do not assume excavation, new fencing or surface repair is included. Before booking, we check the address and whether a neighbor’s permission or a permit is involved.
Identify the supports that neighboring sections still need
A post can serve a retained gate or adjoining fence even when one damaged panel is going. Get your neighbor’s OK for a shared fence and mark where the work ends. A replacement contractor can clarify whether old footings must remain or be removed separately. Loose scrap wood already detached is a simpler material pickup.
Length, post foundations and mixed materials affect the job
Wood panels, vinyl sections and chain link dismantle and load differently. Gates, embedded concrete and leaning sections change the work. Cutting posts flush is distinct from extracting their footings. Carry distance, sharp fasteners and access along both sides affect labor, with new fencing and surface repairs outside the hauling scope.
Curbside rules for fence differ across Lee County
