We take apart and haul away swim spas, the long exercise spas that are too big for most gates. Every swim spa gets a site visit or a clear walkaround video before we quote. You drain it and have an electrician disconnect it; we take it apart and haul it.
Usually cut up on site
Swim spas are usually cut or taken apart where they sit. A sunken or built-in spa needs a closer look first. The concrete pad stays. Fences, screens and landscaping stay as they are unless you ask; taking down a pool cage can be quoted in the same job. Tell us what around the spa you’re keeping.
What the video should show
Walk all the way around: every side of the shell, the equipment compartment, the steps, and the route out for the pieces. A swim spa has much more framing, insulation and pump equipment than its seating area suggests. Show the cover and lifter, and say if they’re going.
What changes the price
The shell’s length and construction, where it sits, and the room to cut it up and carry it out. A freestanding spa on an open pad is simpler than one sunk into a deck or tucked beside a pool cage. A waterlogged hot-tub cover is heavy. The same factors as hot tub removal cost apply, at a larger size.
