We can clear unwanted belongings from a shed that is staying, or take the whole shed down and haul it away. Show us what it is made of, its condition and anything connecting it to the ground or utilities, and we’ll price the job.

Take photos from safe ground outside. Don’t enter an unstable shed or pull panels apart for an estimate. We’ll tell you what else we need to know before agreeing on the work.

Is the shed freestanding, anchored or connected to utilities?

Wood, metal and resin sheds all come down; what changes is the work. Show the material, roof, floor, anchors and base from safe ground. Tie-downs, utilities and heavy framing change how the shed comes apart, and power or water to the shed is disconnected by a licensed electrician or plumber first.

If taking the shed down needs a permit or a licensed contractor, we’ll tell you before we book. Do not enter a rotten or unstable shed for an estimate.

Mark the tools and belongings you want to keep.

List what needs to go and mark the belongings you’re keeping. Paint, fuels, chemicals, batteries and unknown containers need disclosure and separate review. They are not automatically accepted because they are inside the building being removed.

If the structure is staying, the garage cleanout guide is the more useful model for stored contents. If you cannot safely see inside, describe that limitation rather than entering a damaged building for a better picture.

Power, water and anchors

Tell us about electrical service, plumbing, attached equipment and visible anchors. Required professional disconnection must be arranged before removal. Do not cut a cable or pipe because it appears unused.

Ground connections and the condition of the base affect what can be removed and what remains. Ask for the exact work to be written clearly, including whether detached material, anchors or a floor are included. The word “shed” should not quietly expand into a foundation or utility project.

The route out may be narrower than the structure.

Photograph gates, side passages, steps and the loading location. Include obstacles such as pool equipment, screened areas and landscaping that needs to stay. Explain community entry or loading restrictions before scheduling.

Dismantling and unusual handling need assessment against the surroundings. Removing a fence panel or using lifting equipment needs your approval first. If the route runs through the house itself, send photos or call; we’ll tell you what we can take on and how the rest gets handled. A difficult route is a reason for more information or a walkthrough, not an improvised promise.

Contents, floor and slab are separate decisions.

A shed need not be empty if its contents are included in the estimate. Mark what stays and identify fuel, paint, pool chemicals and unknown containers; those do not go in the load. Photograph heavy tools and stored building material separately.

Describe the wood floor, skids, blocks and pavers. Their removal must be listed and priced; a concrete slab stays. If you need the slab broken up or the site readied for a new building, send photos or call; we’ll tell you what we can take on and how the rest gets handled. Required electrical or plumbing disconnections belong with the appropriate licensed professional before work.
