We remove portable and freestanding catios, including ordinary kit dismantling. Attached or custom enclosures receive individual review to avoid damage to the building or lanai.
Animals, litter and attachments
Remove animals and litter before pickup. Show the entire enclosure, connections to the building and any sections you want retained. Attached screen or custom framing is not treated as a loose kit merely because part of it stands on the ground. The dismantling method, access and any separately requested surface work must be agreed before scheduling.
Keep house openings and retained screening distinct
A kit can share a window tunnel, screen panel or support with the home. Identify those connections before treating the enclosure as freestanding equipment. Remove animals and litter first, and mark shelves or platforms that stay. A separate indoor cat tree has furniture handling rather than the same enclosure connections.
Frame, mesh and building attachments affect the plan
A portable kit can dismantle into panels, while custom framing may depend on the house or lanai. Height, damaged mesh, anchors and the yard gate affect work. Removing an enclosure does not automatically include repairing a window opening or rebuilding retained screening; those interfaces must be clear before dismantling.
