We remove unwanted toasters and countertop toaster ovens with household appliances. Unplug the appliance and let it cool fully before it is handled.
Trays, doors and damaged cords
Keep removable trays with the appliance and tell us about broken glass or sharp metal. A countertop toaster oven is different from an installed wall oven; fixed appliances need an installation review. Include other kitchen items in the photo rather than assuming they are covered by a single appliance request.
Keep countertop cooking appliances cold and empty
A toaster oven can include a heavy glass door and several racks, unlike a small pop-up toaster. Leave those parts identifiable with the appliance after removing food. Check a model’s recall instructions before offering it for reuse. More complete kitchen clearances can include coffee makers and other prepared countertop units.
A single toaster may not need a separate pickup
Lee County’s appliance guidance includes small corded appliances in household garbage collection. Removal can still help with a larger kitchen load or difficult access. For that load, the number of appliances, glass-door units and loose accessories matters more than the presence of one small toaster.
