We remove countertop coffee makers and espresso machines with other appliances. Empty water reservoirs and used coffee, unplug the unit and let hot components cool before pickup.
Carafes and plumbed machines
Identify glass carafes, removable grinders and accessories you want included. A commercial or directly plumbed machine needs a separate connection and weight review; household countertop removal does not include plumbing work. Keep fragile pieces visible in the inventory instead of hiding broken glass in a bag.
Keep a brewer complete before deciding on reuse
A missing carafe, drip tray or portafilter can make an otherwise working coffee machine unusable to its next owner. Keep those parts together, and distinguish a separate grinder from the brewer. If several devices are leaving, small-appliance removal covers the wider collection without mixing food or cleaning liquids into it.
Commercial espresso machines
Weight can be concentrated in a commercial machine’s internal assembly, even when it fits on a counter. Plumbing, hardwired power and a high lifting position need preparation and a supported carry. Ordinary plug-in brewers have simpler preparation; glass carafes and the number of appliances affect how the group is handled.
