The desk may be leaving while the computer, cables and files stay. A bank of workstations may also include powered panels or parts that belong to the building. Mark what goes in the photo so we don’t confuse furniture with equipment you’re keeping.

Show Fort Myers Junk Removal the furniture you want removed and the route to the loading area. We remove desks, chairs, tables, empty filing cabinets and other agreed office furnishings. A furniture pickup is not an IT decommissioning, records-destruction or electrical-disconnection service.

For several chairs, use office-chair removal. Before cabinets leave, the filing-cabinet guide explains empty/unlocked preparation and the separate records decision.

For work surfaces, desk removal separates returns, hutches and devices you’re keeping, while conference-table removal addresses segmented tops and integrated connections. An entire office closure needs the wider office-cleanout guide.

Choose the item or job you have in mind for preparation details and help planning the pickup.

Count the pieces that make up each workstation.

List desks, returns, hutches, cabinets and chairs separately where you can. Photograph the back or underside only if it is safely accessible; there is no need to crawl under a heavy desk for an estimate. Describe items that are attached to walls or connected to neighboring workstations.

Conference tables can have several sections, and filing cabinets can still be full even when the office looks vacant. Identify what remains inside and who will empty or retain it. A row of similar chairs is easier to price when the count is confirmed rather than estimated from one narrow photo.

Separate furniture from records and electronics.

Have your authorized staff identify and secure records, keys, access badges and equipment that must remain. Do not leave confidential paperwork in furniture intended for removal. If records need destruction, arrange that with an appropriate provider; hauling away a cabinet is not certified destruction of its contents.

For computers and monitors, use the computer pickup guide. Equipment acceptance needs review, and the person responsible for the data handles data destruction first. Keep electronics out of a broad “everything in this office” instruction until the person responsible for the data has made the necessary decisions.

Does the cubicle connect to power or the building?

Tell us whether panels are freestanding, anchored or connected to power or data systems. Connections requiring professional disconnection must be made safe by the appropriate professional before removal. Do not assume furniture disassembly includes electrical work or removing building finishes.

Ordinary disassembly can be reviewed with the furniture. Unusual fasteners, damaged frames, heavy tops and restricted clearances may need a closer look. Photos should show both the workstation and its exit route; a catalogue image cannot show how it is installed in your office.

Get the vendor instructions before choosing a pickup time.

Send service-elevator reservations, loading-dock instructions, parking restrictions and permitted work hours. If management requires documents or approval, provide the actual requirements early so we can confirm what can be supplied before booking. If your building or property manager requires a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we’ll arrange it.

Confirm who can authorize changes during the visit. For a managed property, the property-manager guide explains access and written removal instructions. Scheduling is agreed for the job; a preferred date in a message is not a confirmed appointment or an automatic after-hours commitment.

Define what the finished space should contain.

Use a room or workstation list to identify both removed and furniture that stays. For remote approvals, include photographs or labels that another person can follow without guessing. A landlord’s fixtures should not disappear because a tenant’s desks are being collected.

The estimate considers the disclosed load, labor and access. We agree on the work and a written price before starting. Changes need your written approval before we continue. Completion photographs can show the agreed cleared areas. Broom-clean removal does not include deep cleaning, wall repair, cable removal or a landlord’s complete restoration checklist. See commercial removal planning for the wider handover context.
