We can take one machine, the pair or a stacked laundry setup. Include pedestals if they’re going too. Tell us what you have and show the space around it; the front of the machines won’t show a tight closet or the bracket holding a stack together.
You don’t need to pull the machines from the wall or move them downstairs. Photograph them where they sit, then show the doorway and the rest of the way out. We’ll talk through the connections and preparation before confirming the pickup.

Identify gas, plugs and shutoff valves before booking.
The crew can unplug an ordinary electric dryer and detach its vent duct. A gas dryer must already be disconnected and capped by a licensed professional; a hardwired appliance needs an electrician. Once it’s disconnected and capped, we take it out.
For a washer, accessible fill hoses can be unscrewed from shutoff valves that close and hold, and the drain hose can be lifted from its standpipe. A valve that leaks or will not close stops that work until a plumber resolves it. Tell us about known leaks before scheduling.
Photograph stacked units, mounting brackets and the closet opening as a complete setup. Taking down a stack and carrying machines through a narrow utility closet involve different work from collecting two detached appliances in a garage.
Closet doors and stair landings belong in the photos.
Take a wide view of the laundry space and another showing the route out. Mention a narrow closet opening, raised platform, interior turn or stair landing. If there are loose items around the machines, make the route clear where you can do that safely; leave the heavy machines for the agreed removal.
For an upstairs condo, ask management about vendor entry, service elevators, loading and permitted work times. Your access key does not settle all those requirements. Let us review the instructions before a pickup is put on the calendar, especially if an elevator window must be reserved.
Check what the new-appliance delivery includes.
A retailer may offer old-appliance haul-away with the new delivery. Check what that includes and what must be disconnected first. If it meets the need, use that option. If an old unit has been left behind, describe its condition and readiness before arranging a separate pickup.
For a rental turnover, identify who can authorize removal and where the replacement work fits in the handover. A tenant moving out isn’t permission on its own; we remove what the person who hired us authorizes. A remote owner can provide written removal and entry instructions; the approval contact needs to be reachable if the actual setup differs.
One machine, a pair or a larger appliance load?
The number of units is only the beginning of the estimate. Stacked configurations, stairs, restricted access, condition and the complete load affect the work. Include other appliances in the original request rather than adding them after a price has been agreed.
We review photos with you and may request more information or a free walkthrough when needed. Substantial additions need approval of any price change before removal; substantially less work is considered too. The appliance guide helps organize mixed equipment, and pricing explains the general quote process. See what affects appliance removal cost.
Tell us about leaks, damage and contents before arrival.
An old machine can contain water or material you cannot see in a front-facing photo. Describe what you know, without opening unfamiliar parts or attempting a repair. Damage, pests or contamination need disclosure so the pickup can be assessed honestly.
Reuse is conditional on suitability and acceptance. If you want a machine repaired or sold, arrange that first; recycling depends on condition and what the receiving facility accepts. Pickup is also separate from connecting and testing the new equipment. Tell us if you need installation help so you can arrange the right provider separately.
