Gaming consoles can be collected with household electronics. Remove games and accessories you want to keep, prepare personal data and accounts, and show controllers or extra components that should leave.
Storage, cables and batteries
The customer removes or wipes information before pickup; crews do not power on or access devices. If storage remains, data responsibility is recorded in the estimate. Identify battery-powered accessories and disclose damaged, swollen or flood-exposed lithium batteries before acceptance. Keep retained displays and their cables separate.
Separate saved games from the equipment being discarded
A console can use internal storage, removable cards or an external drive. Resolve those records and account access using the manufacturer’s instructions before pickup. Keep discs and accessories you still use distinct from the unwanted set. Unwanted players and recorders in the same cabinet are separate devices.
Controllers and power supplies are part of the inventory
A complete gaming station can include several consoles, charging docks, headsets and displays. Battery-powered accessories need their condition identified; loose batteries should not disappear among cables. The amount of equipment, fragile screens and carrying access affect the load. Account recovery, resale and delivery to another player are separate from removal.
