We remove clean home hospital beds; tell us who owns it and how it’s connected. Check whether the bed is rented or supplied through a care provider before requesting disposal.
Owned equipment and powered frames
Rented hospital beds should go back to their supplier. For an owned bed, identify the frame, mattress, rails, controls and any other equipment that should leave. Unplug ordinary power and disclose batteries or stuck adjustments. Sharps, blood, bodily fluids and medical waste need their own medical-waste route before pickup. A powered frame, upstairs room or narrow exit needs a little planning, so send photos.
Resolve supplier returns before clearing the bedroom
A bed, pressure pump and accessories can have different owners even when used together. Identify rented equipment for return and keep retained controls separate. For an owned clean bed, list the frame, rails and mattress individually. Other home medical equipment must remain distinct from sharps, care waste or contaminated materials.
Powered frame position and room access affect dismantling
A stuck raised section can increase the bed’s carrying dimensions. Motors, rails and mattress pieces add weight and trips; stairs or a narrow bedroom door may require supported separation. The bed needs to be clean, yours (or released by the owner), with any battery details known. The crew does not dismantle medical mechanisms to conceal a preparation problem.
