We remove clean, owned home medical equipment, including walkers, wheelchairs, lift chairs, hospital beds, clean commodes, CPAP machines and oxygen concentrators without tanks. First separate equipment you own from equipment that belongs to a supplier.
Sort equipment by ownership and readiness for removal
A spare walker, a rented bed and an oxygen cylinder may be stored together but need different next steps.
Owned equipment that is no longer needed
Decide which items and accessories leave together. Keep controls, cushions and detachable pieces with the right unit, and separate anything another family member still uses. Clean equipment can be considered for an accepting reuse recipient before you choose removal.
Supplier-owned equipment and oxygen tanks
Arrange return of rented or provider-owned equipment with that supplier. A powered oxygen concentrator is different from a compressed-gas cylinder. Keep compressed-gas tanks for the supplier’s return process; we take the rest.
Clear personal care supplies before the equipment leaves
Remove personal information and separate consumable supplies from the equipment. Sharps, medications, blood or bodily-fluid contamination, laboratory waste and medical waste need their own disposal route first; then the remaining equipment is ready to go.
Let us know about powered equipment and its battery configuration. A mobility scooter has different weight and battery considerations from a folding manual wheelchair; identify the actual equipment rather than describing both as a chair.
Bed sections, powered chairs and room access affect the work
A hospital bed may need ordinary disassembly and several carries, while a folding walker takes very little room. Item weight, stairs, tight bedroom turns and the distance to the truck affect the estimate. Keep the control and detachable parts for a bed or powered chair available, and identify which furniture needs to move out with it.
