Mirror pickup depends on the glass size and how it is attached. We take loose mirrors and can take down clipped or screwed ones; glued mirrors need a closer look first.
Protect the glass and disclose attachments
Show the edges, mounting points and route out without tugging on the mirror. Wrap or tape loose glass for handling; large mirrors need a planned two-person carry. A handyman or painter handles patching and repainting afterward.
Mounting method determines the release sequence
Clips, a frame hanger and adhesive hold mirrors differently. Leave supports intact until the glass can be controlled; a large glued panel should not be treated as a loose furnishing. Identify tracks on mirrored doors and any retained hardware. Prepared loose glass needs its dimensions and containment described separately.
Size, backing and wall attachment affect the lift
A small framed mirror differs from a large unframed wall panel. Weight, cracks, adhesive and the path through stairs or turns influence equipment and crew. Disposal work does not include patching the exposed wall or fitting a replacement. Intact salvage needs to be discussed before releasing a glued piece.
