Furniture removal is priced on what’s going and the work it takes to get it to the truck. Our starting prices for common pieces are published below. What moves a job above them is the type of piece, its weight, the stairs and doorways on the way out, and how much is going in the same trip. Text photos of everything that’s going and the route out for a free estimate.

A sofa, a sleeper and a sectional are different jobs
A standard sofa is one carry. A sleeper sofa hides a heavy steel bed frame. A sectional is several pieces, and a power recliner has a motor and wiring. Tell us which you have, and count the ottomans and loose sections. Glass and stone tabletops are heavy and fragile, so mention them. List mattresses, box springs and bed frames separately, since they’re priced on their own.
Stairs, doorways and taking things apart
Stairs, tight landings, elevator waits and a long walk to the truck add time. Routine disassembly, like taking the legs off a table or splitting a sectional, is included. Taking apart something that wasn’t built to come apart is quoted separately before we start. You don’t need to drag anything outside first; photos of it where it sits are better. Large jobs can get a free walkthrough.
One price for the whole job
You get one price for everything in the estimate before any work starts. If something is added on the day, we price it before it goes on the truck. Pieces in good condition may be donated when that’s practical and the charity accepts them, but donation isn’t guaranteed and doesn’t change the price.
