Fort Myers Junk Removal removes one standard box spring in Lee County, starting at $99.
Starting at $99
One standard box spring
- Included
- Labor, lifting/loading, haul-away, transportation, and standard disposal/recycling fees for the described item
- What changes the price
- Size/weight, quantity, pickup access
- Add-on charges
- Quoted before work for unusual access, extra-heavy/oversized handling, disassembly, or non-standard disposal when applicable
We can take the box spring on its own or with the rest of the old bed. Send a photo and tell us its size, where it sits and whether it’s one foundation or two. A king bed can have a split foundation; count both pieces so the estimate includes the whole pickup.
You don’t have to carry it downstairs or leave it by the road first. Show the doorway, hallway turns and stairs, and we’ll plan the carry-out with you. A minimum charge applies even when only one item is going.
Count the pieces under the bed, not just the bed itself.
Include the box spring or foundation, the mattress and any metal frame or rails you want removed. These are separate pieces even when they were sold as one set. If the new bed uses the old frame, mark that frame to stay.
An adjustable powered base is not an ordinary box spring. Tell us about motors, cords and its position before pickup; it can be much heavier. The bed-frame guide explains frames and powered bases. For the full room, use bedroom-set removal.
A rigid foundation needs room at the stair turn.
A box spring usually won’t bend around a corner like a loose mattress. Show the landing and the space on both sides of the doorway. Mention if a door or room layout has changed since delivery.
Routine disassembly may help with the surrounding bed frame, but don’t cut apart the foundation for an estimate. We discuss a safe method and get approval before any destructive work. At a condo, ask management about elevator use and whether bedding must be covered in common areas.
Tell us about the fabric and what’s been stored with it.
Check for personal belongings caught underneath, and tell us about moisture, odors, torn fabric or known pests before booking. Don’t hide the condition under a sheet. Some conditions need preparation first; send photos and we’ll tell you what it takes.
Known or suspected bed bugs need to be disclosed before scheduling. The mattress guide explains the bedding preparation and condition limits. Removal is not pest treatment or biohazard cleanup.
Check the replacement delivery before booking another pickup.
If a new mattress is being delivered, ask whether the seller will take the old foundation too. A mattress-only haul-away arrangement may leave the box spring behind. Confirm preparation, carrying service, timing and cost with that provider.
If you choose our service, send all the pieces in one request and let us know about other furniture leaving. We put the agreed work and price in writing before loading. Pricing explains the minimum charge and estimate factors. Donation or recycling is not guaranteed.
