Fort Myers Junk Removal removes one standard sectional sofa in Lee County, starting at $179.
Starting at $179
One standard sectional sofa
- Included
- Labor, lifting/loading, haul-away, transportation, and standard disposal/recycling fees for the described item
- What changes the price
- Size/weight, quantity, pickup access, disassembly
- Add-on charges
- Quoted before work for unusual access, extra-heavy/oversized handling, disassembly, or non-standard disposal when applicable
We take apart and haul away sectionals: every module, the chaise, power recliners and the console, carried out of the room and down the stairs. Separating the pieces is part of the job.
Leave it where it sits. Send one photo of the whole arrangement, another of the way out, and tell us if any sections are staying, for a free estimate.
Planning your sectional sofa removal
Connected modules and powered seats need a component-by-component removal plan.
- Before pickup
- Remove belongings from console storage and cushions; identify modules that stay.
- Tell us about powered seats and any damaged or stuck mechanisms.
- Where it is and how to reach it
- Measure the narrowest doorway if practical; describe turns after it.
- For condos, provide elevator dimensions, reserved times and the loading route.
- Useful photos
- Complete sectional, including chaise, corner and console.
- Visible connectors or model label if accessible without lifting; doors and landings.
- What affects the quote
- Number and size of sections, powered mechanisms, disassembly and stairs.
- Long hallway carries, loading restrictions and any approved cutting.
Which sections of the couch are leaving?
List the modules rather than just the seat count. Tell us whether the chaise is attached, whether a console links two seats, and whether any end section is staying. A photograph marked “keep” is clearer than an instruction to remove “most of the couch.” We confirm that distinction before separating the set.
Most sectionals separate at their connectors. Routine separation is different from destructive cutting, and neither should be attempted by a customer who cannot safely support the furniture. If a connector is hidden or jammed, describe it; a close-up taken while lifting the couch is not required.
Reclining modules change both weight and preparation.
Powered reclining sections need their electrical supply unplugged and connecting wiring separated as part of the carry-out plan. Identify which seats are powered, even if they no longer work. A failed motor does not make that section an ordinary light couch module.
If part of the sectional contains a pull-out bed, say so before the price is agreed. The mechanism needs to be secured for movement. The sleeper-sofa guide explains the extra information that concealed bed hardware adds to a pickup.
Each section still needs a way through the house.
The largest module still has to pass the doorway, turn through the hall and reach the truck. Show the complete route, including a screened lanai door if that is the proposed exit. Do not assume that the wide sliding door from the living room means the rest of the route is equally wide.
We review removable legs or backs, an alternative exit and, with permission, ordinary hinged-door removal before considering cutting. Cutting is only considered for furniture going to disposal, with written approval. If it was not part of the estimate, the work and price need your written approval before that work begins.
Reserve the route your building actually permits.
A condo pickup can involve repeated trips for separate modules. Give us the freight-elevator reservation, floor, loading position, garage clearance and length of the hallway. Ask management which route vendors must use before arranging a pickup window. An elevator that fits a person and a chair may not fit the corner section.
For a mixed room of furniture, use the furniture-removal guide. For a single conventional sofa, the couch guide may cover everything you need. The estimate should include the whole agreed load, not just the most visible module.
