We can help remove an unwanted stove or oven once the necessary connections and preparation are handled. A freestanding range, a wall oven and a cooktop set into a counter are different jobs. Show the whole appliance and tell us whether it is still installed.
Gas and hardwired electrical connections need the appropriate professional before removal. We handle the agreed carrying and haul-away, not gas work, electrical work or installing the replacement. There’s no need to move a heavy appliance to find a label for the estimate.

Identify the unit and what is attached to it.
Send an overall photograph showing the appliance and surrounding cabinets. State whether it is gas or electric if you know, whether it has already been disconnected and whether it is still installed. Do not move it to inspect an inaccessible label or connection.
For a wall oven or cooktop, explain what the installer will remove and where the old unit will be left. Removing attached trim, counters or cabinet supports is not an assumed part of haul-away. A double oven can also be substantially different from a small standalone appliance; include its configuration in the initial request.
Let the appropriate professional handle the connections.
Do not cut a line, pull an appliance free or attempt unfamiliar connection work to prepare for pickup. If another professional is handling the replacement, coordinate their preparation with the agreed removal date. Tell us promptly if the unit will still be connected or inaccessible.
Make clear whether a range hood, warming drawer or other separate item is also leaving. The quote should not rely on the assumption that everything in a kitchen photograph is included. For built-in equipment, tell us exactly what the installer will detach and leave ready to carry.
A heavy appliance needs more than a clear front door.
Include kitchen turns, changes in floor level, stairs and the loading route. Mention a condo elevator, vendor approval or limited loading period before scheduling. Protecting the route begins with understanding it, not discovering a tight landing with the appliance already moving.
Ordinary access measures can be reviewed, including authorized standard hinged-door removal where appropriate. Removing doorframes or changing the kitchen is a different matter. If photos do not explain the clearance, we may need another angle or a free walkthrough before agreeing on the work.
Compare the actual replacement and removal arrangements.
Ask the retailer or installer whether haul-away is available and what preparation it requires. If that solves the whole problem, a separate pickup may be unnecessary. Our service may fit when the old equipment is left behind, access needs assessment or several items are leaving together.
Use the appliance removal guide for a mixed kitchen list and the dishwasher guide for water-connected equipment. Reuse or recycling is conditional, not guaranteed. We agree on the work and a written price before loading, including carrying the appliance from where it sits.
