We remove table lamps and floor lamps as household contents. Show the base, shade and height, and identify broken glass or heavy stone parts before pickup.
Loose lamps and installed fixtures
Unplug ordinary lamps and keep unwanted shades with them. Disclose lamp or bulb types before acceptance; fluorescent lamps are not ordinary junk pickup. Hardwired fixtures and chandeliers require a separate connection and handling review. Do not cut wiring or break bulbs to prepare a lamp.
Separate the lamp body from its bulb route
An unplugged lamp may be ordinary furniture-like equipment, while a fluorescent or other specialty bulb needs separate handling. Keep shades supported and identify a heavy base or cracked glass. A mounted light fixture requires safe electrical release before hauling rather than the simple unplugging of a table lamp.
Tall stems and heavy bases change the carry
A floor lamp can be top-heavy, and a stone base can add substantial weight to a narrow item. Fragile shades, multiple lamps and stairs affect handling. Bulb condition and type should remain visible in the plan. A complete working lamp and one with damaged wiring are different reuse candidates.
