We remove unwanted household decor, including boxed ornaments and freestanding decorative pieces. Identify fragile objects, heavy sculptures and family keeps before agreeing on the load.
Fragile objects and heavy bases
Show glass, ceramic or stone pieces separately from ordinary bags. Large statues and heavy bases need a handling review. Wall-fixed decor requires attachment details before removal is included; hauling loose decorations does not automatically include repairing wall finishes. Have antiques or sentimental items appraised before you decide what goes.
Make the keep decision before clearing shelves
Sentimental pieces and potentially valuable art deserve their own keep, sell or appraisal decision. Mark those separately from ordinary ornaments. Dense stone and ceramic items need identification beyond their apparent size; decorative bottles also need contents identified. Picture frames may hold personal documents or fragile glazing behind the visible artwork.
Material and support points affect handling
A hollow ornament can resemble a heavy stone sculpture, while a narrow base can make a tall object unstable. Large fragile pieces, stairs and wall attachments affect carrying. Small decor can be grouped in manageable containers, with sharp or broken items clearly contained rather than hidden among soft household goods.
