We take detached light fixtures after the lamps and ballast condition have been identified. Our crew does not perform hardwired disconnection.
Separate restricted lamps from the fixture body
Fluorescent, CFL and HID lamps and leaking old ballasts need separate handling. Do not break them or hide them inside the fixture. Mention LED and incandescent bulbs too, so we know what’s in the box. Show shades, diffusers, brackets and sharp edges together with the detached fitting.
Separate the fitting from lamps and old ballasts
Leave sealed components intact and identify breakage. A detached chandelier also brings fragile arms and decorative glass that need support.
Fixture length and fragile parts affect the carry
A box of detached wall lights differs from long fluorescent housings or broad pendants. Sharp edges, glass diffusers and loose brackets add handling. The estimate starts after fixed wiring has been released; electrical work and a separate lamp-disposal route are not concealed within ordinary fixture hauling.
