We take wheelbarrows after their contents have been identified and removed or separately included in the quote. A tub full of dirt or hardened concrete is a different job from an empty barrow.
Photograph the tub, wheel and handles
Tell us if the wheel rolls, the frame is rusted through or handles have broken. Keep sharp damaged edges visible in the photos from a safe distance. Soil, rock, wet cement and chemical residue must be disclosed separately. Include carts or other garden tools in the inventory rather than leaving them beside the barrow as an assumed extra.
Treat the tray and anything inside it as separate loads
A wheelbarrow full of set concrete or wet soil is not just a garden tool. Identify those contents and leave chemicals or unknown residue out of ordinary pickup. A broken handle or rusted tray can fail when lifted even if the wheel rolls. Other loose garden equipment can be grouped beside it.
Rolling condition and heavy contents affect removal
A flat tire can turn rolling into carrying, while unstable handles change support points. Soil, rock or hardened cement adds dense weight that must be accounted for separately. Gate width, steps and the route from a shed affect the job. Do not load more unwanted items into a damaged tray to consolidate the pickup.
