We dismantle and remove drained above-ground pools, including the agreed frame, walls, liner and equipment. Steel walls, resin components and soft-sided frames need different handling, especially when corrosion or storm damage has weakened the pool.

The customer arranges drainage before the visit. Identify the surrounding deck and equipment that must remain. In-ground pool demolition, excavation and lawn restoration are separate from this service.

Drainage and utility release come before dismantling.

Arrange drainage in advance using the applicable requirements for your property. Remaining water adds weight and pressure against the walls; the pool must be drained before removal. Pool pickup is not a bulk-water pumping service.

An ordinary pump plug can be unplugged; hardwired equipment needs an electrician. Identify the pump and filter type, including any sand or DE media requiring separate preparation. The pool-equipment guide distinguishes those components from the shell.

Wall construction determines the dismantling work.

A steel-wall pool can leave long, sharp-edged panels once its supporting frame is released. A soft-sided pool instead has a flexible liner and tubular supports. Keep weakened walls and supports undisturbed until the crew can control how they come apart.

Include the liner, top rails, posts, ladders and covers that are leaving. Identify already-detached pieces separately, and keep pool chemicals out of the equipment load.

A deck can remain even when the pool goes.

Show where decking, railings or fencing meet the pool, and identify which structures stay. Deck removal and fence removal can be part of the same job if you want them gone.

A pool-side deck may leave an exposed edge when the shell is gone. If the deck is staying, plan its continued use and any needed alterations with the appropriate contractor rather than assuming that removing the pool makes the retained deck ready to use.

Getting the sections out through the gate

Gate width, turns beside the house and the distance to loading affect how wall sections and frame pieces can be carried. A screened enclosure can constrain working room even when the pool itself is small. Identify the route that protects retained landscaping and pool equipment.

A trampoline, playset or patio set adds separate components and dismantling work. Include those items distinctly if the goal is a wider backyard clearout.

Pool size, wall condition and access affect the quote.

Wall height and circumference, frame construction and corrosion affect the amount of controlled dismantling. A clear hard-surface carry differs from a long path through soft ground. The liner, cover and prepared pump equipment also add to the load.

The estimate identifies what leaves and what remains, including any base or concrete. Grading, filling, sod and landscaping are separate work; coordinate those after the pool components have been removed.
