Pool Table Removal · Quick answer
Pool table removal without the guesswork.
The table and the way out shape the work. We review its construction, room access and any dismantling before estimating the removal.
- Slate and non-slate tables need different handling.
- Doorways, stairs and turns are part of the estimate.
- Disassembly is agreed before work begins.
Fort Myers Junk Removal removes one standard pool table in Lee County, starting at $395.
Starting at $395
One standard pool table
- Included
- Labor, lifting/loading, haul-away, transportation, and standard disposal/recycling fees for the described item
- What changes the price
- Size/weight, quantity, pickup access, disassembly
- Add-on charges
- Quoted before work for unusual access, extra-heavy/oversized handling, disassembly, or non-standard disposal when applicable
We remove unwanted pool tables, including disassembly when needed. Tell us its size and whether it has slate, if you know. Send the make, model or any paperwork you already have; don’t lift a slab or remove the felt to find out.
Slate changes the weight and handling considerably. We need to see the room, doorway and any stairs before confirming the pickup. This is removal for disposal, not moving, refelting, leveling or reassembling the table in another home.
We confirm the table’s construction, safe route and suitable crew and equipment before accepting the pickup. Taking the frame apart does not make every slate stair carry workable.
Planning your pool table removal
Slate and non-slate tables require different component and load assessments.
- Before pickup
- Clear balls, cues, lamps and personal belongings from the table area.
- Identify slate type from existing paperwork if available; do not lift it to check.
- Where it is and how to reach it
- Working room around the table and the doorway after disassembly.
- Stairs, landings, floor condition and the carry to loading.
- Useful photos
- Whole table, maker label and safely visible construction.
- Room clearance, doorways and every stair turn.
- What affects the quote
- Slate versus non-slate, component size and disassembly labor.
- Equipment/crew requirements, stairs and loading access.
One-piece and multiple-piece slate are different handling questions.
Tell us if the documentation identifies one-piece or three-piece slate. If it does not, leave that fact unknown for assessment. Do not remove felt or try to raise a slab to take photographs. Individual slate components can remain a heavy handling problem after the table frame is separated.
Table size alone does not establish component weight. A non-slate table and a slate table of similar dimensions need different labor and loading plans. We check the actual table before deciding what people and equipment the job needs.
Agree that the purpose is disposal.
Pool-table removal can involve rails, felt, slate and legs. That disassembly is not intended to preserve a complete set for reinstallation. If you want the table moved, recovered or leveled somewhere else, arrange a pool-table specialist instead.
Do not assume that slate will be broken inside the house. Any destructive method needs a safe plan and approval as part of the agreed work. The estimate must account for the actual preparation and removal work before components start coming apart.
Review the path for the heaviest component.
Show the doors, turns, thresholds and stair landings from the table to loading. A frame that comes apart does not solve a narrow stair turn for a heavy slab. Tell us about exterior stairs, soft flooring and elevator restrictions.
The crew and equipment must be appropriate to the assessed components and route. If the job needs rigging, structural changes or handling beyond available equipment, it requires referral or cannot proceed as ordinary removal.
Include the room without hiding other heavy items.
List any benches, cue racks or other furniture leaving with the table and identify what stays. A nearby piano, safe or weight collection needs its own assessment; it is not incidental to the table quote.
Use furniture removal for the surrounding household pieces. The written agreement should include the table’s dismantling as well as the other furniture. If the table or way out differs from what we discussed, we explain the change before continuing.
