We haul furnaces after qualified trade disconnection. A licensed trade disconnects the gas, electrical, refrigerant and HVAC connections first; then we take the furnace out and haul it away.
Trade preparation and old materials
Refrigerant-related equipment must be handled by an HVAC professional first. Show the installation, access and any remaining wrap or insulation without disturbing it. If we find suspect old insulation, we stop and work out a safe plan. A cramped attic, closet or elevated platform can change the handling plan even after connections are removed.
Hauling starts after the heating system is decommissioned
An old cabinet can remain connected through ducts, wiring or other equipment even after the thermostat is off. The qualified trade releases those connections before our carry-out. Identify detached duct sections separately, leaving suspect insulation undisturbed. A prepared air-conditioning unit also needs its cooling-system work distinguished from hauling.
Platforms, closets and separate equipment affect carrying
Cabinet dimensions, weight and the space to turn it off a raised platform determine removal effort. Attic stairs or tight utility closets can be more limiting than the loading distance. Detached components add pieces. A licensed HVAC technician releases the refrigerant first, and suspect insulation needs testing first; if the unit is walled in, send photos and we’ll tell you how it gets handled.
