Kegerator removal starts with more than the refrigerated cabinet. Identify the keg, tap tower, hoses and any compressed-gas cylinder before requesting a pickup.
Empty cabinet, separate gas equipment
Remove beverages and take off the gas cylinder; return it to the gas supplier or take it to Lee County’s household chemical drop-off at Topaz Court (drop-off sites). The appliance must be disconnected, with its refrigeration system intact. Show fixed plumbing or counter attachments and do not cut lines to free the unit. Tell us if the cabinet is leaking or has spoiled contents.
Clear the dispensing equipment as well as the refrigerator
A keg, gas cylinder and dispensing tower are not interchangeable accessories. Settle supplier returns and cylinder handling before the refrigerator leaves. A tower can project above an otherwise compact cabinet, and a built-in bar can conceal attachments. Use mini-fridge removal for an ordinary compact refrigerator without the beverage system.
Tower height, cabinet weight and bar access affect removal
A freestanding single-keg cabinet is a different extraction from a cooler fitted under a counter. Dispensing parts, glass or shelving add handling; stairs and tight bar openings affect turning space. The appliance must be empty and released, with gas equipment separately arranged and its sealed cooling system intact.
Where it can go in Lee County
If you’d rather handle some of it yourself, or it’s still worth giving away, these are the local options. Each organization decides what it accepts, so check with them before you load the car.
