We remove ice machines, from countertop units to commercial ice makers, once they’re disconnected. Tell us whether it is a countertop machine, an under-counter unit or a larger ice head and bin.
Water and power first
Empty the machine and have water, drainage and hardwired electrical connections handled by the appropriate trade before hauling. Keep any refrigeration system intact. Show separate bins, wall clearance and the loading route. A machine still connected to utilities is not ready for ordinary removal.
Identify the ice head, bin and refrigeration arrangement
A machine can be a single cabinet or a head stacked above an independent storage bin. Identify which parts are leaving and any remote refrigeration equipment connected to them. Water disconnection alone does not prepare a remote cooling system. Commercial refrigerator removal covers other prepared cold-storage cabinets in the kitchen.
Stacked components and remote connections affect the job
Head and bin weights, lifting height and room to separate them affect the crew’s work. Narrow kitchen doors, steps and the loading position matter for the rigid cabinets. Trade preparation for water, drainage, power and external refrigeration is distinct from the subsequent carry-out; an apparently empty ice bin does not describe the whole machine.
