Snowboards and unwanted winter-sports gear can be included in a household cleanout. Identify each board and whether bindings, boots or a storage bag are also leaving.
Keep the selected gear together
Set aside equipment you want to keep and show damaged edges or exposed metal. Do not create an unmarked bundle containing both retained and unwanted gear. If reuse matters to you, discuss condition and receiving acceptance before pickup; removal does not guarantee donation.
Separate usable gear from a damaged board
A sound board intended for another rider needs honest information about its bindings and damage. A cracked board used as decoration is a different proposition from equipment offered for sport. Keep retained boots and bags apart. A wider sports-equipment pickup can include other unwanted gear expressly listed.
Board length and included accessories determine the load
Bindings add projections even though the board is flat. Sharp edges or separating layers need identification, while several boards, boots and racks add carrying pieces. Stairs and storage access affect the visit. There is no need to cut the board or force off ordinary bindings for disposal.
