Ten workstations do not describe ten identical desks. A panel system may share supports, work surfaces, overhead storage and electrical connections. Show the whole layout and representative connections before asking for a pickup price.
Detached panels can be assessed as an office furniture pickup. An installed system needs a plan for dismantling and professional utility disconnection first. No electrical work is implied by a furniture-removal request.
Describe the system, not just the seat count.
Include panel heights, work surfaces, drawer units, overhead bins and loose parts already in storage. Approximate dimensions and the manufacturer/model, if known, help explain the configuration. State whether all stations are leaving or some must remain functional.
A shared panel may support a desk that stays. Do not dismantle a partial run before its connections are understood. Identify the area that stays in use clearly and show any building attachment rather than assuming the entire system is freestanding.
Resolve powered connections before furniture handling.
Tell us about power feeds, cable channels and equipment still in use. Required electrical disconnection belongs with the appropriate professional. Have your IT contact identify devices you’re keeping and cabling; the removal crew does not decide which network or power lines can be cut.
Clear personal records and desk contents before the visit. If electronics are also leaving, use the computer guide to separate pickup from data destruction. List those devices separately.
Long panels have to get through the building too.
Show the freight elevator, turns, service doors and loading area. Ask management for its actual vendor instructions and any required documents early. If your building or property manager requires a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we’ll arrange it.
Explain who authorizes the work and changes, the time access is available and whether another trade shares the route. A vacant office does not establish an unrestricted loading window.
Agree on dismantling, loading and the remaining space.
The estimate should identify whether components are already detached or what ordinary dismantling has been accepted. Building alterations, reconnection and installation elsewhere are separate questions. Surface repairs are not silently included with haul-away.
Send the complete furniture list through office furniture removal. The commercial hub covers the approval and handover arrangements when the project spans more than workstations.
