A folded treadmill still has a heavy base. A compact home gym can have a separate stack of weights and a frame that was assembled inside the room. Identify the equipment before deciding whether it can leave in one piece.
Send the model label if accessible, an overall photograph and the route from the machine to loading. Do not dismantle cables, release a weight stack or tilt a machine to make a better photograph.
For a single treadmill, the treadmill guide goes deeper into folding decks, motor-end clearance, stairs and connected-screen preparation.
The exercise-bike guide focuses on projecting pedals and screens, customer data and connected-bike preparation.

Different machines need different exit plans.
The heaviest component may remain after disassembly. Photograph equipment in place and show the entire route to the loading point.
Treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and rowers
Treadmill decks, elliptical arms and stair climbers take up space even when they fold. Exercise bikes, including connected bikes, may have screens and accounts to remove. Rowing machines can have long rails or water tanks. Describe loose pieces, plugged-in power and any leaking tank before pickup; do not dismantle a heavy machine simply to make a quote possible.
Weights, benches and home gyms
List loose dumbbells and plates separately from the frame. Cable machines and weight stacks come apart in a set order, and Pilates reformers have spring mechanisms, so show them. A home gym can weigh far more than it looks; stairs, soft ground and narrow gates matter, so photograph the way out.
Several machines or a gym closure
Send a list of the machines, the model labels you can see, where they are and where the truck can load. We plan the crew and the loading method for the job and bring or arrange the equipment it needs. Moving machines you’re keeping is a different job; ours is removal.

Choose the item or job you have in mind for preparation details and help planning the pickup.
List the parts that make up the gym.
Distinguish a treadmill, elliptical, exercise bike, bench and multi-station frame. Show separate plates, dumbbells, mats and attachments if they belong in the pickup. A quotation for a machine does not silently include every weight in the room.
Manufacturer information can help identify dimensions and weight, but a model number alone does not explain stairs or modifications. Tell us if parts are missing, the frame is damaged or the machine was assembled in its current room.
Do not treat folding and dismantling as the same thing.
A folding deck may change the shape without making the base much lighter. Attached cables, moving arms and weight stacks can complicate handling. Describe the present configuration and any work already performed; do not take apart tensioned or loaded mechanisms for pickup preparation.
We can include ordinary disassembly, but we need to check how your particular machine comes apart. For very heavy machines, balcony routes or unusual setups, send photos or call; we’ll tell you what we can take on and how the rest gets handled. An unclear job may need a walkthrough before acceptance.
Photograph the lowest clearance and tightest turn.
Include room doorways, hallway corners and every stair landing. At a condo, add elevator dimensions or management’s usable-car information if available, loading access and permitted vendor hours. A machine that fits the elevator door may still be difficult to turn into it.
Keep the ordinary path clear where safe. Do not drag a machine across flooring or move it toward a stair edge. Explain floor surfaces and protection concerns so the least disruptive route can be reviewed before work.
Condition affects alternatives, not just appearance.
If another person wants the equipment, establish who will dismantle, carry and transport it before relying on a giveaway. A working console is not proof that the machine is safe for resale, and hauling does not include testing or certification.
For removal, the estimate depends on the equipment, separate weights, access and necessary labor. Send the whole list at once. Pricing explains how the work is reviewed; the furniture guide is useful when a spare room is also being cleared.

If you’d rather handle some of it yourself, or it’s still worth giving away, these are the local options. Each organization decides what it accepts, so check with them before you load the car.
