Fort Myers Junk Removal removes one standard treadmill in Lee County, starting at $149.
Starting at $149
One standard treadmill
- Included
- Labor, lifting/loading, haul-away, transportation, and standard disposal/recycling fees for the described item
- What changes the price
- Size/weight, quantity, pickup access, disassembly
- Add-on charges
- Quoted before work for unusual access, extra-heavy/oversized handling, disassembly, or non-standard disposal when applicable
Folding changes a treadmill’s shape, not the weight that has to leave the room. The motor end, console, deck and handrails can each affect how it passes a doorway or a stair turn. Tell us the model and whether it currently folds or rolls; do not move it just to prove that it can.
We remove ordinary home treadmills, including necessary disassembly. Commercial machines, difficult stair routes and attached systems need a closer assessment before acceptance.
Planning your treadmill removal
Heavy machine with a moving deck, console and possible customer data.
- Before pickup
- Secure your account and data on connected screens before releasing the machine.
- Tell us if the deck, folding latch or wheels are damaged; do not force them.
- Where it is and how to reach it
- Full stair route, landing turns and clearance for the motor end.
- Doorways, floor condition, elevator space and loading distance.
- Useful photos
- Whole treadmill in its current position, model label if accessible.
- Console/deck configuration and every difficult part of the exit.
- What affects the quote
- Machine size, weight if documented, disassembly and stairs.
- Commercial construction, long carries and any additional fitness equipment.
A model label is more useful than a guessed weight.
Photograph the label if you can reach it safely. State whether the unit is a household treadmill or a commercial machine, and whether the console or rails extend beyond the deck. If the maker’s dimensions or manual are available, include them.
Leave the machine upright; there’s no need to tip it to inspect its underside. Unknown weight is a reason for further review, not an invitation to guess a lifting capacity. Send separate photos of a commercial treadmill; it’s reviewed on its own weight and route, not by comparison with a home unit.
Folding and disassembly are different options.
Tell us whether the deck folds and whether the latch holds in normal use. A broken or jammed mechanism should be disclosed without trying to repair or force it. The available removal method depends on the actual machine and room.
Disassembly can be included when needed for removal, but the job is not a repair or a move with reassembly at another address. List the accessories and any other equipment leaving so loose parts are accounted for instead of becoming an unpriced second load.
Review the motor end through the entire route.
Show the room exit, hallway, stair treads and both landings. Mention railings, narrow turns and exterior steps. A folded deck fitting the doorway does not establish that the machine can be controlled around a landing.
The estimate accounts for weight, access and tool time. Crew and equipment requirements are decided for the actual job. We may need a closer look; if safe handling would need structural changes or extra equipment, we’ll tell you what we can take on and how the rest gets handled.
Remove your account from a connected screen before pickup.
A connected treadmill can hold account information on its tablet. Follow the manufacturer’s process to remove personal data and disconnect your account before pickup. Do that step yourself before the crew arrives; we haul the machine once it’s done.
For a complete room of machines and weights, start with exercise-equipment removal. Explain free weights and bolted racks separately; they change the load plan and are not implied by a photo of one treadmill.
Where it can go in Lee County
If you’d rather handle some of it yourself, or it’s still worth giving away, these are the local options. Each organization decides what it accepts, so check with them before you load the car.
