We remove jetted and whirlpool bathtubs, whether the tub is still installed or your contractor already took it out. Motors, wiring and plumbing are disconnected by a licensed electrician or plumber before we start.
Disconnection and access
An electrician handles electrical connections first, and a plumber the water. Show the tub, pump equipment, dimensions and route out. Cast iron upstairs, raised homes, tight bathrooms and mobile-home floor strength need a separate review. If the tub is still installed, show the surround and tile around it; tearing those out can go in the same estimate. Repairing walls and remodeling the bathroom are for your contractor.
Include the pump assembly when describing the detached tub
The outside of a jetted tub can have plumbing loops, a motor and a frame that extend beyond the bathing shell. Those parts determine the carrying shape after the contractor has released it. Identify other already-removed bathroom fixtures separately. Leave damaged edges and equipment visible instead of wrapping them out of sight.
Tub material and the bathroom exit drive the handling
Acrylic, fiberglass and heavy cast construction do not make equivalent lifts. The attached pump and frame add weight and projections, while upstairs turns can restrict the tub’s path. The estimate covers the tear-out you ask for and the haul; plumbing and electrical disconnection by a licensed trade is separate.

- Cape Coral: not collected at the curb (bathtubs, fence sections, insulation and patio doors are excluded).
- Fort Myers Beach: wood fencing up to 2 yards a week stacked; chain-link by special pickup.
