We remove unwanted household organs and similar heavy keyboard cabinets after reviewing weight, power and access. Show the cabinet depth, pedals and any separate speaker or bench.
Separate pieces and connections
Unplug ordinary power and identify attached cables or components that should remain. Large cabinets and stair routes can require more handling than the visible keyboard suggests. Installed building systems or hardwired equipment need separate preparation; an organ pickup does not include dismantling a building's pipe-organ installation.
List the pedalboard, speakers and bench as separate parts
A freestanding electronic organ can include external speakers and a detachable pedalboard beyond its main cabinet. Unplug accessible power and keep retained equipment clearly marked. A building’s pipe-organ installation requires specialists rather than this furniture-like pickup. Other loose audio equipment can be identified with the unwanted components.
Cabinet depth and internal weight determine the carry
The visible keyboard does not describe the weight of the surrounding assembly. Tall backs, projecting pedals, heavy speakers and stairs affect handling. Include the full depth and intended accessories. A recipient must want the actual instrument; removal does not include evaluating its musical condition or dismantling a fixed pipe-organ system.
