We remove unwanted kayaks from accessible land storage. Show the full hull and include paddles, seats, carts or racks only if those should leave too.
Length and storage access
Empty belongings and describe cracks, damage or water remaining inside. A long kayak stored behind a gate or suspended overhead needs its position and exit route reviewed before handling. Once the kayak or small boat is out of the water, we take it from there; for a larger boat, see old boat removal. Racks fixed to a wall need a separate attachment discussion.
Check hatches as well as the open seat
Water and personal gear can remain inside enclosed compartments even when the seat is empty. Identify pedals, removable seats, fishing accessories or a motor separately and keep retained pieces aside. Leave an overhead hull supported for planned lowering. A canoe may have a wider open shape and different carrying points.
Hull length and rack position determine access
A long kayak needs space to turn after clearing a gate. High storage, stairs, trapped water and broken edges affect handling. An attached rack or powered accessory is additional scope. This pickup starts on land, with launch work and water retrieval arranged separately.
