We remove TV stands, media consoles and their unwanted furniture components. Take out devices, remotes and personal belongings you intend to keep, and identify whether a screen is also part of the pickup.
Separate furniture from electronics
Show glass doors, removable shelves and cable openings. Unplug devices and free their cables without cutting through wall wiring. A console with an attached TV mount or large hutch needs a photo of the connections before disassembly. Wall repair, electrical work and remounting a television are separate from hauling the stand.
Disconnect the entertainment setup before retiring its support
Trace accessible cables to the devices you are keeping rather than pulling the console away with equipment still attached. A mounted screen needs another support before the furniture leaves. Glass shelves, an electric fireplace insert and an upper hutch are distinct parts of the stand. Unwanted screens can be included as television removal.
A media console may contain several different lifts
A low hollow cabinet, solid-wood console and glass-shelf tower have different weights and fragile parts. An attached screen mount or hutch adds separation work; an electric insert adds weight. The estimate accounts for the console’s actual parts, retained equipment and access, not just the television size it was designed to hold.
