We accept intact CRT televisions, with their additional receiving cost included in the estimate. These sets can be much heavier than their screen size suggests; show the whole cabinet and where it sits.
Intact screens and heavy cabinets
Do not break the screen or open the cabinet. Disclose cracks or other damage before scheduling because a broken CRT needs a separate handling decision. Send dimensions or model details if available without lifting it, and include stairs, furniture supporting the set and the route out.
Support the cabinet and leave the glass tube intact
A CRT places considerable weight inside a deep cabinet. It should remain on its stable support until the crew is ready; do not pull it forward by the screen or open the housing. Identify a furniture surround or TV stand separately so its removal is not assumed.
Cabinet depth and stairs matter more than screen diagonal
A CRT with the same screen measurement as a flat panel can be much heavier and deeper. The stair landing and room to grip the cabinet affect the crew’s carry. Broken tube glass changes acceptance and containment. Include the full outer dimensions and any furniture that must leave with the set.
