We can help a storage facility with agreed, one-off contents removal from units that are ready to clear. List each unit number with its own permission, items and instructions. Several units sharing a deadline doesn’t mean their ownership or contents are the same.
Complete any required sale or other disposal process before booking. Gate access alone isn’t permission to clear a unit; we work from each unit’s written permission and book each cleanout as its own job.
Planning your storage facility cleanouts
Each unit has its own removal list and permission, even when several are booked together.
- Before pickup
- List unit numbers and the belongings approved for removal separately.
- Resolve pending sales or disputes before removal.
- Where it is and how to reach it
- Vendor check-in, gate hours, locks and upper-floor routes.
- Useful photos
- Views for each unit, heavy contents and loading access.
- What affects the quote
- Actual contents per unit, sorting and repeat corridor/elevator trips.
- Who can approve the removal
- Provide written permission for each unit. Being able to open the gate is not permission to dispose of every unit’s contents.

Facility access and disposal authority are separate.
Management can open a gate without having completed the process that authorizes disposal of a tenant’s belongings. Supply the relevant release or completed sale paperwork for review. The removal crew does not decide whether a lien sale is legally complete.
Keep instructions tied to the unit number. Do not combine a tenant-authorized pickup and a disputed unit under a single broad work order.
Hidden hazards do not become ordinary contents at auction.
Disclose heavy safes, pianos, vehicles, boats, chemicals, unknown bags, pests or odors. Each can change acceptance or require specialist handling. A photo of the first few boxes does not establish what is behind them.
Provide more views or arrange an assessment when the contents aren’t visible. The quote should reflect actual material and access, not merely the rented floor area.
Define what facility staff need to verify.
Name a reachable approval contact and agree on unit access, keep items, broom-clean completion and lock-up. Photos document the cleared areas; closing a tenant account or releasing an auction buyer’s deposit remains a facility decision.
Individual tenants and auction buyers can use storage-unit cleanout planning. A broader property-manager request is covered by managed-property guidance, without assuming a new credit or recurring-service arrangement.
