Moving has enough pieces to keep track of without finding room for furniture you no longer want. We can collect the unwanted items after you’ve decided what is going to the next place. Keep the movers’ boxes and anything belonging to the landlord clearly separate.
Show us the actual leftovers, including closets, a balcony or storage space. We handle removal and a broom-clean sweep where we work. Your movers handle what’s going with you, and the landlord makes the deposit decision.
Planning your move-out cleanout
Removal of the belongings you aren’t taking with you, timed around your move.
- Before pickup
- Separate moving, staying and removal items.
- Confirm when movers finish and when keys must be returned.
- Where it is and how to reach it
- Remaining access window, stairs/elevator and loading position.
- Useful photos
- All leftover areas after movers or collections where possible.
- What affects the quote
- Actual remaining load, extra rooms and constrained access windows.

Show what the movers are taking and what will be left.
Photos taken while boxes are still being packed can overstate or understate the removal load. Mark what is definitely leaving with movers and send updated views when collections change what remains. Tell us if another closet needs clearing or a furniture collection falls through; that may change the job and price.
We explain substantial changes to the work or price and get your written approval before continuing. A requested key-return deadline is not a confirmed completion guarantee.
A tenant can release their own belongings, not the landlord’s fixtures.
Identify appliances, fitted items or furnishings that belong to the property. If a landlord or manager is arranging removal of someone else’s belongings, documented authority must be established first. We remove what the person who hired us authorizes.
Keep disputed items outside the removal list. If the former occupant objects or instructions conflict, the affected work must pause rather than proceed on a general “clear everything” instruction.
Agree on the handover the removal actually provides.
The crew removes the approved contents and leaves the work area broom-clean. Deep cleaning, patching, painting and repairs need their own arrangements. Photos show the areas cleared; they are not a landlord’s acceptance inspection.
For shared-building access, use condo planning or apartment cleanouts. If the move leaves an entire household of contents, the whole-house guide helps define every included space.
