You don’t need to be home: once access and a clear list of what goes are set up in advance, we can do the pickup while you’re away. Choose a reachable contact who can answer if the crew finds an unclear item or instruction.
Private access and a clear removal list
Send room or item photos with keeps clearly marked. Share lockbox, gate and alarm details privately. The agreed scope must say what can leave; access to a property alone is not authorization to remove everything inside. If permission or instructions are unclear, work stops for clarification.
Arrival, completion and lock-up
We document arrival, before and after conditions and lock-up. Confirm how the property should be secured and how completion photos should reach the authorized contact. Arrange a contact we can reach when the job is finished.
What changes the price
A not-home pickup is priced the same way as any other job: by what leaves, what it is and how far it travels to the truck. The difference is that the estimate has to be complete before the crew arrives. Photos of every item where it sits, the access route (gate, garage, lockbox) and a clear list of what stays are what let us price it without you there. What we need when you won’t be there
Send photos of everything that’s going, marked or described clearly enough that a crew member who has never seen the property can’t confuse it with what stays. Tell us how we get in, by gate code, lockbox or a neighbor, privately rather than in the photos. Name one person we can call or text with questions during the job.
We send completion photos of the cleared areas when we’re done. If anything on site doesn’t match the photos, such as extra items or a locked gate, we contact you before doing anything different.
